Dani Alves has come back to earth and been revealed to be an old man/he's Jordi Alba's only reliable back-up. I think there's a lot of smoke because he's American and they're often underrated as players in the foreign press. Xavi really likes him, he's just had two injuries this year derail his presence. His game covering for Jordi on the left was nearly flawless right before his latest injury. I'd be surprised if he leaves as there's... no one in either position he plays to step up/his level, really.

Pretty sure it was in June. Wimbledon was going on at the same time.

I find it hard to believe he’ll get a new deal anywhere unless it’s pay-as-you-play. Man had his potential world class career ruined by Deschamps and he’s now made of egg noodles. Unless he’s made progress recently?

All USA game are favorable times for good viewership stateside. Know the fans in Quatar are not gonna be showing the best (10pm starts).

I actually read Barca and Arsenal had worked a loan-to-buy deal out for him in January, and then he got injured again in training. But yeah, certainly looks like the trade off of winning the world cup, but lose your knee isn't doing him any favors at the moment. He was exceptional when he first came to us, too.

Whatever happened to all those rumors that Deschamps and the French team were doing immensely shady things?

That's the early goal Chelsea needed. Wankers!

  16. Curious what’s next for Poch if PSG let him go.

  17. Chelsea getting a corner that wasn’t a corner and equalizing is lame
