Pickford being such a little gobshite after avoiding a red and then having to pick the ball out of his own net three times was quite delicious.

 

Although the winner is one of the worst missed offside calls I have ever seen.

I just saw the scene and it is clearly offside. It's not even debatable. The moment Aguero plays the ball Sterling is offside and tries to get the ball, so he clearly interferes. What happens afterwards doesn't matter.

Ok, I know KWP deserved a red. But I’m glad someone else noticed how terrible the fee kick spot was on this play. English referring is consistently terrible.

 

Thought that one would have been a pretty harsh red. The ball hadn't even been played through when he was clipped and there are several defenders back. It would have been a bold call to say that was absolutely a goal scoring opportunity. Trying to think if I've ever seen a player sent off for essentially being last man when the guy he fouls isn't even on the ball.

 

I was surprised it wasn’t a red and I was so relieved when I saw the yellow card come out. But then I saw the spot for the kick and was super confused.
