After the past week, I needed this win to remind me this season has actually been a good one.

So many talented individuals in this team - Ziyech my personal fav, Tadic, De Jong and De Ligt of course, but I genuinely feel that Lasse Schone is one of the greatest Ajax players of all time. At the weekend he became the record holder for non-Dutch player with the most appearances for the club, tonight scores a legendary goal to put them through their first knockout stage game in over 20 years

I don't understand how Southampton sold Tadic for such a small fee. Just watched the highlights and he's all over them.

Results last night mean that a few of the usual suspects are gone too. Could lead to some interesting next round ties.

 

The best bit about that Real defeat is Ramos deliberately getting the yellow card to miss the match. Hilarious.

Really pleased for Tottenham. They played a great game across both legs - even more impressive when considering their league form. Would love to see them get a bit further into this tournament.
