I thought Ronaldo was gonna get that. Fantastic run.

    I do not exist.

Just seen Sane's freekick and Sterling's winner from last night. Sublime.

    Also, this stat is fun:

I'm not generally a fan of defensive football but when it is done this well I have to applaud tbh. Real Madrid is also the only team to ever knock Atletico out of the CL knockout stage since Simeone took charge, no knockout losses at home in that time either :embarrassed:

I'm sure they'll worm their way out of it or at least get it reduced to 1 window

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Has any big team actually served a full ban for this? Seems like every single one gets reduced or suspended on appeal.

Be interesting what happens post-Brexit for the British teams, as part of the FIFA rules involve the transfer of players within the European economic area, which I think we'll have left.

Could be wrong on that though. The use of "economic area" has me unsure.

Pretty sure all of Barcelona, Madrid, and Atleti all served full bans.

    me too

edit - seemed like initially Poch was saying "you owe me one" over and over, then after Dean said something "you can't talk to me like that"

  15. Curious if we’ll ever find out what Dean said to him that set him off

and then he draws a red card foul. He's going to piss off so many EPL backs w/ his speed. I might be a Newcastle fan now.

as an arsenal fan i can tell you with near certainty he’s scoring against us when Newcastle come to the Emirates in April. that speed will shred our back line

My only knock on him, having watched him Atlanta for two years, is his ability to finish. He has the pace and raw skill to set the league on fire, but he had trouble at times finishing in MLS. He has an insanely good left foot, but he leans on it too much because he has a not so great right foot. He looks excellent today though regardless.

Messi is the best player in the world and it's not even close.

Coutinho has been woeful this season. Really wish we'd gone for Eriksen instead--he's had one or two truly great games, but he's been the weakest link almost every game he's been in for us.

Absolute nightmare week of Barcelona away games begins with a Messi hat-trick.

Maybe I'll finally see him score a goal in May.
