Skipp apparently playing well today. Excited to see him this year.

 

Is Tammy Abraham actually good? I mean, I know he isn't bad, but I've seen him linked to Arsenal and Spurs throughout the summer and I find it kinda strange. One, I don't think he's good enough right now to really play a lot for either team. Two, if he was, Chelsea wouldn't be selling him (at least not to a rival). Three, why wouldn't he want to go somewhere like West Ham or Villa instead if playing time is his main gripe?

 

Tammy finished the season as Chelsea’s top scorer iirc. Tuchel just hates him, from all appearances. I don’t think it’s fair to him to have been sidelined for Werner, so I don’t know that we know how good he can be at top level over a full season because it stopped at the halfway mark.

 

I really rate Abraham. The fact that he wasn't even getting into squads under Tuchel was very odd - I can only think they were trying to commit to Werner but he offered substantially more than either Werner or Giroud did last season. I hope his next move works out.

 

I'm totally okay with him joining us but £40m is way too much imo.

 

This new keeper we signed has way too much swag to be a keeper

 

Apparently he is a popular rapper in Italy and goes by the name Gollorius.

 

Something about that is hilarious and very Spurs.

Basically Juventus can ONLY offer a loan with obligation. Sassuolo will not accept because they need a replacement and have no money otherwise. Meanwhile apparently Locatelli isn't against moving to Arsenal but doesn't want to price himself out of a move to Juventus, his childhood club, in the future. At the same time, Sassuolo can't keep him because he only has two years left and they want to cash in...

 

Sounds like they can work out a loan + buy obligation with Juve

 

He cost us £50k. Absolute bargain. The guy is just a classy player, cool and calm no matter the scenario. I was proud of how he handled the racist abuse he got by the salvia Prague player and glad all of Scottish football got behind him. Perhaps we just accept he will go on a pre-contract in January (and probably sold for nothing), but hopefully we get the champions league money having him in the team to that point.

 

See things are going swimmingly for Phil Neville in the MLS. I don't really follow the league, but are there any rumblings about him being sacked?

 

6 players started for Spain today that were regulars in the Euros team. That’s insane.

 

And shockingly, none were the two subbed off before halftime due to “very serious” injuries.

First half hat-trick for Richarlison. He won't be with us for much longer if he starts showing this form at club level.

 

Seems like he’s more expensive than we thought but encouraging that we’re still talking.

 

As much as I want this to happen.....he'd be our like 4th LW. Can he play CAM?

 

It sounds like you'll get him but the day a 'super club' comes in for him in the future you'll lose him. I suppose there's nothing wrong with that, though, especially if he gives you a solid 2/3 years first.
