The truth is VAR is technically not capable of getting these close offside decisions right. That's what I've been saying since the Confed-Cup. We had two goals overturned by the VAR today in the Bundesliga and both were not clear to tell based on the footage. It's completely arbitrary at this point.

 

They should use the VAR when there was a clear wrong decision by the ref but not for these 50/50 situations.
