Same as Sam except Sane over Ozil I guess

 

Yeah, Sane has been great. As I said, maybe de Gea, Kane and a couple of different defenders plus the Man City attack and you've got the team of the year.

 

I went 433 - De Gea; Walker, Azpilicueta, Alderweireld, Alonso; KDB, Coutinho*, Silva; Salah, Kane, Hazard.

Went with Coutinho over Kante because Kante has dropped off a bit in 2017/18 despite a wonderful end to last season, but it was a hard choice. My friend put Rashford in (and refused to consider David Silva) and is now pissed off at me for daring to question it lol. "David Silva's only been good the past few months", yet Salah was in his team; a man who has only been playing in the league the past few months?!?! Great criteria...

 

Silva has been 98% as influential as KdB's 100% this season. If anyone can't watch one city game and see that then wow.

Those two+Fernadinho (I think that's the one of the two with very close last names who's been acting as DM for them) is arguably the best midfield in the world right now (Busquets/Rakitic/Iniesta/Paulinho being less flashy but just as good, imo).

Would love to watch that midfield feeding balls to Lukaku and Kane.

I'm conflicted as to whether that's a good move or not... Granted, it'll be a stepping stone, but he needs to be given chances regularly, not playing for a relegation contender...

At £18 million, I would've thought Everton would be all over that.

The rumors of Spurs wanting him never die. I’d love to snag him in January to backup Kane since Llorente hasn’t done squat.

 

Shockingly the front runner for the Wednesday job is Paulo Fonesca from Shakhtar Donetsk. Would be incredible if we pulled this off but there’s literally no chance.

I think we be better off going for an up and comer with an experienced man as assistant. Would like someone like Paul Hurst from Shrewsbury or Nathan Jones from Luton with Megson as assistant.

The chairman is mega ambitious though so who knows. Just hope whoever it is gets some money to restructure the squad in January.
