Better team won. Bristol were absolutely excellent!

 

Bournemouth equalise 89th min, Morata scores about 30seconds later for the 2-1 while the Bournemouth goal replays were still playing on the screens

So I guess Pulis is going to be Swansea manager by the end of the month.

 

Yeah they were really really good. We weren't at the races, but take nothing away from them. I was really impressed. 4th premier league team they've knocked out in the cup.

 

Got a few friends in Bristol who're fans and they say they play some great stuff. Of course they draw City in the semi's though

So I’m just getting into English soccer this year. What is so special about the Carabao Cup (EFL). Do the top teams ever use their ‘A’ teams?

It’s the least prestigious of the three domestic titles that are competed in England every season. Usually the top teams deploy A teams in semis/the final.

 

Nothing really. It's the cup for the Football League. Premier League down to and including League 2. It's the least prestigious of English trophies bar the community shield. Big teams usually put out their second teams, or at least use it to blood youngsters.

 

El Clasico at 7am on a Saturday is brutal.

 

Ajax sack their manager and two assistants - one of which being Dennis Bergkamp! If fucking De Boer or Bosz come back i'll be gutted.

 

Bergkamp is my all time footballing hero but this seems justified from what I know.

 

Guy is an icon to me, but he is kinda responsible for the step back the club took over the summer (not solely, mind). The fact his former teammate Overmars fired him is crazy to think about. Maybe he could coach at Arsenal now?

I'd love him back as a coach. We need more of our former players at the club and Pires, Bergkamp, the possibility of Rosicky being a coach, plus people talking of Arteta, I think would solve this.
