I'm so bummed that right as the Dynamo prepare to host their first playoff game in 4 years, I move away from Houston....

They are blowing up my phone and email trying to sell tickets. Worries me. The Astros are in the World Series and have captivated the city....fear the turnout will be embarrassing tonight.

I bet it'll be better than the turn out of our game if MLS schedules it on Halloween. I hate this league sometimes

 

The logistical chaos the league creates for themselves with the playoffs always leaves such a sour taste in my mouth.

Once again, we've got a 15 day break between the Conference Semi's and the Conference Finals, then a week between both of those legs, then a week and a half till the Cup Final. Right on.

 

It's ridiculous, like, I get the week break between the 2nd leg of the conference finals and MLS cup, the NFL does that, but all the breaks in between? So stupid.

 

And it feels especially drawn out after I just witnessed the flurry of MLB playoffs, where your team basically plays every day....those breaks are such momentum killers, especially for fans without teams participating. But they keep doing it the same way every year....

 

MLS needs a lot of change, especially when it comes to playoff scheduling. The only long break should be after the 2nd leg of the conference finals and MLS cup, that's it. No reason that MLS cup should be played in December when you could probably have it finished by mid-November.

FM18 beta is live.

 

Hope FM18 fixes some of the issues that scared me away from 17. Namely, the injuries. Everything I read made it seem like the game was basically unplayable because of how frequently severe injuries occurred.

 

My first take from FM18... the UI has changed and I don't know where anything is.

 

Rooting for Atlanta in these playoffs.

Orlando has been “my team” in mls since they came into the league but I’m losing interest in them. Shea is gone. Kaka is gone. Larin is leaving. All my favorite players from the team are out.

 

ATL will be easy to root for should we not advance. But fuck that let's go yellow team

 

It’s been a tremendous season for Atlanta. Organization has just done everything right. They already feel like the darling team in Atlanta sports.
