Over Cincinnati or Sacramento? Interesting decision if it's true. I bet MLS will get to 32 easily enough at this rate.

Tampa Bay, Cincinnati, Sacramento, and maybe San Antonio should be the next teams into MLS (in no particular order). If MLS is gonna expand, they should maybe look at the NASL, its probably gonna fold in the next 2-3 years anyway, they could take a team or two from them and the others could maybe go to the USL, continue to expand by eventually promoting USL teams like they've done in the past.

I know I’m biased, but I really think it should be Raleigh.

Just no repeat states, for the love of god, please.

I’ve watched this league for 15 years, with no team remotely close to me. I don’t think it’s fair that the nice people of California and Texas should get to have a fucking 4th or 3rd R respective team to be able to support.

Yeah. We’re far too large of a country for any state to have more than two...let alone have two cities with two. California and Texas having three makes SOME sense. But not while other regions have one in 600 miles.

Just curious, do you go to NCFC games at all? Would you start supporting them, if you don't already, if they joined MLS?

Definitely agree with both of you, the southeast is lacking in teams, you got that big gap between DC and Atlanta that could be filled with a NC/SC or Tennessee based team. Southwest is lacking too.

The southwest not having one is baffling, if only in proximity to Mexico alone. Phoenix/Albuquerque surely have a large enough population of Latinx to make soccer successful there, let alone its popularity rise in general.

I think if Phoenix Rising SC could make a case at some point, especially since Drogba has an ownership stake in them

I only just moved back to Raleigh after living in western NC for a couple of years, so money has been tight, and I haven’t been able to make it out yet. I’ve made it out to a few NCFC4MLS rallies, and am really excited about the bid. Hopefully would be in a position to pick up season tickets by the time an inaugural season rolled around.

That's cool. I do hope that region gets a team at some point, it could make for an awesome rivalry with Atlanta and/or DC/Orlando.

Unfortunately I moved away from near Atlanta right before the season started. Would love to catch a game there at some point.

That is such a bummer, hopefully you can get out to an NCFC game before the NASL eventually folds

Expansion talk gets me excited because I like to see what the expansion teams come up with and what kind of team they put together and it just adds to the list of places to travel to

  16. The stadium renderings for Raleigh were dope

Steady reports over the past couple of weeks that Mourinho wants to bring in Ozil on a free. Just picturing an on form Ozil in front of Pogba and Matic is mouth watering.

The AFC 5th place playoff first leg is this week, that should be pretty good

From a USA may have to play the winner of this standpoint; who do we want to win?

I'd say we'd want Syria to win as I think that Australia is just about at our level

But then we’re the country that keeps a national striving for hope after a disaster out of the World Cup. But yeah. I thought so too

Hopefully it doesn't come down to us traveling to Australia/Malaysia, but I think a Panama/Syria series would be a pretty decent set of games.
