Swansea has been a lot of fun until this season since coming up. Hoping we finish strong and stay up.

    Well that's uncanny

  6. It's funny because if you told me like six or seven years ago to support them, I would have laughed. I hated Torres, Carragher, Lucas, Benayoun, Johnson... the list goes on. But right now, they're definitely a group of players I like a lot.

The state of football in the north east is pretty disgraceful. Newcastle and Sunderland (this from a Newcastle fan) are atrociously underachieving. They shouldn't have any trouble being mid table premier league teams (think Stoke) and yet they're being shown up by teams like Bournemouth.

Mike Ashley gets a bashing for his running of the club and I'm not sure why the owners at Sunderland don't get more stick than they do. That club has something fundamentally rotten at its core at the minute.

Oh absolutely. I was saying this yesterday to my dad. Geordies absolutely worship that football club. They have a 50,000 seater stadium that is packed every week. I genuinely believe they could be on a level with Everton. Hopefully with this promotion they actually make it stick and progress.

Sunderland, you're right. Absolutely rotten. Moyes gets a lot of stick (rightly so) but the club is a shambles. Their recruitment is dire. Losing Allardyce was a shame, but they need a top to bottom shake up. Relegation is probably the best thing for them in that regard.

  12. I love Juve's confidence. It's too bad Madrid are going to steamroll through any team they face.

  13. Most Americans don't even know who Spurs are

I feel like a lot of people know Everton because of Howard and Donovan. That's honestly the reason I picked em. When I introduced my roommates to epl a few years back they all started rooting for spurs or Chelsea though

  19. I chose Blackburn back in 2005 because they were the first team I ever watched and didn't know anything about the league. I never really thought about what I would do if they were relegated. And even when they were, it seemed like they would be right back up........ and now here we are.

Why not just follow a better league? Like the Bundesliga. :eh:

I chose Blackburn as a child because, even then, I was percipient enough to know I'd hate myself as an adult.

Their recruitment has been absolutely bizarre. They seemed to go through a phase of buying about 10 players every summer, most of whom were garbage. Sacked a manager every year or so too. Relegation might be more damaging than you'd think. Apparently their wage bill is massive.

Is Griezmann going for the Poborsky look ready for his move to Man Utd?

Is this game going to have more football or more players chasing after the ref while shouting?
