  1. That was a penalty

Kane made the most of it, but it was a penalty.

  3. Title race is basically over barring a Chelsea meltdown (not happening) but still pumped about this season. Crazy to think we are 16W, 2D, 1L in our last 19 league games and we will come up short.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I couldn't understand why the commentators were making a big deal about that. The defender gets nowhere near the ball and kicks him in his standing leg...

Had no internet, only data so I'll be succinct.

Spurs deserve it. they have the better, more tactically flexible manager. They have he leagues best defence, and a core of young exciting players that seem hugely motivated and seem to have bonded well. They're the better team currently and the clubs are in their respective league positions for a reason.

We need major surgery, at board, management and team level.

  9. So after years of being made fun of for always finishing below Arsenal, we finally overcome that and everyone acts like it doesn't matter.

I thought Spurs got made fun of more for the creative ways they found to choke rather than just finishing behind Arsenal.

    Can's goal was pretty special.

I think Spurs are being properly recognized for their achievements so far in the Poch era. The same could be said for recognizing Arsenal's dramatic downfall.

  12. Didn't realize the CL games were today. Let's go Atletico!

  13. As much as I dislike Real, I am a big Casemiro fan.

That was some finish by Ronaldo.

Atkinson has to be the worst CL referee...

Atletico jus haven't turned up today, so disappointing. The absences definitely hindered them but the team that did go out there just hasn't performed. Probably tie over.

Just don't let Real win the tournament again, they aren't special enough to be he first to retain it.

When the season is all said and done, Antoine can find peace knowing he'll be signing for the real kings of Europe.

this is funny until we get outclassed by Celia Vigo over two legs

Ronaldo's scored 42 hat-tricks for Real. That's an insane number.

If your team signed someone who scored 126 goals in 8 years, averaging at 15/16 goals a year, then it's a pretty good signing. But for someone to score that many in 42 games? Ridiculous really.

  21. I usually disregard the papers constant "reports" of Spurs players being poached by "bigger" clubs, but the Kyle Walker talk seems to have some legs. Apparently Poch isn't happy with his fitness and doesn't trust him to play multiple games in a week. Which makes sense with how he has been rotating Walker and Trippier, and with Trippier getting the bigger games recently. At first this news upset me, but after looking it over Walker is our weakest starter. It'll be interesting to see how much Levy can get for him. City and Bayern have been the two clubs linked to Walker.

It's also being reported that Trippier is about to get a new contract. Makes me think he could be awarded the starting role rather than us having to buy a replacement in the summer. I can't argue against giving him that role. He's been great this season for the most part. He delivers some beautiful crosses into the box and has the pace to play in either system Poch runs.

As long as Trippier is an equal or better defender than Walker, I'd move Walker on. He's had his brianfarts over the years, and Trippier can whip a ball in at a world class level. My only worry would be his inexperience, but at least he has Toby next to him.

  24. Yeah, I think that's why Trippier got the nod against Chelsea and Arsenal. Trying to get him some experience against tougher teams and see if we can trust him in the starting role next season.

Full back is such a nice position to have settled, I hope Valencia can keep up the pace for a few more years on our right side. You never would have thought, but our lack of basically anyone at LB has been detrimental to our game. Goes to show how important they are in the modern game.
