Fuck that first goal is awful.

  2. Am I the only one who can't stand Robbie Mustoe?

Does my heart some good to see Terrence Boyd back and playing. Scoring, too! If he gets in a groove and stays healthy, the American striker force may be stronger than ever.

Cruel yes, unfair not so much. But I feel almost sorry for them. They had a good game and deserved a point. But a football game lasts 90 minutes...

Not sure how this video relates to our game, but to answer your question: given our performances this year so far I am a little worried. We haven't looked confident in any of our games. If we play this way against Arsenal we will most likely go out. I just hope we step up and show a performance like the one against Leipzig before the winter break.

Wonderful defensive clearance from Zlatan :crylaugh:

Gabbiadini's turn for Soton's second is worth seeing.

Someone other than Tom Lawrence scored for Ipswich. Not sure that's supposed to happen.

Nice goal by Lanzini for West Ham's second, too.

  14. Yeah, we're definitely missing Rose and Vertonghen.

  15. Interesting strategy to turn the ball over every single time you get it to midfield.

  16. Haven't seen Spurs play that bad in awhile. So many terrible decisions with the ball.

Where are Spurs in the league? 2nd, you say? You wouldn't know that watching this game.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it. Classic Spurs this.

I wanted this to end in a high-scoring tie, but this meltdown has been worth it, too.

Still 6th then, but two points off second. 4 if City win.

  22. I usually understand the "classic Spurs" joke but it doesn't really make sense here. We were missing half of our defensive line, both on the left side. Mane took advantage of Davies as expected. Dier was overwhelmed. Not having Rose or Vertonghen was huge today. I guess Poch had more faith in those two because his tactics were very risky against a speedy pressing team like Liverpool.

Plus, away to Liverpool isn't a gimme game. They were clearly due for a breakout performance after their recent slump.

Just that this kinda stuff seems to always happen ye. You had the chance to go 3 points clear into second and somethings happened to stand in your way. That and the bit of a meltdown that seems common when things don't go your way the last couple of years.

  24. Yeah we could've extended our lead in second but we played away to Liverpool while United played home to Watford and Arsenal played home to Hull. City also has a favorable matchup. So we clearly had to toughest matchup of the 5 teams fighting for the 2-4 spots on the table. I don't think it's fair to say we had a meltdown. Through 25 games we've lost 3 times. Away to Chelsea, away to United, away to Liverpool. I think any team would be satisfied with that at this point in the season. Our toughest games are behind us and we are in a good position right now. Everything will be fine.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Pretty stunned by some of the decisions against Hull yesterday. It makes Bilic's theatrics look fairly silly, given that the Hull manager just took it in his stride and didn't smash anything up. :crylaugh:
