I swear bands are having a competition for the worst new badge. This has currently won by a landslide.

Looking back, though, that is amazing Jenko-level banter. It's pretty hilarious.

To me at least, the general feeling is that he's about as mercurial as you're going to get. His random swings between a patch of banging them in and seeming completely uninterested have always been bizarre.

And if that is his bad reputation, then it's totally deserving...

If anything, it probably has more to do with the fact that in a four season time span, he played for Arsenal, City, Madrid, and Tottenham. Doesn't seem like the English tend to like players that move so quickly between clubs.

Yeah he always seemed to perform when he either wanted a new contract or around transfer windows to attract interest from other clubs.
