I swear bands are having a competition for the worst new badge. This has currently won by a landslide.

Liverpool's reserve players made an absolute show of themselves last night. So childish and aggressive. Delighted we got a last minute goal to put them away.

honestly looking at it a bit more, give it a gold stitching trim around it when going on the jersey it won't look bad at all.

Memphis is off to Lyon £16m rising to £22m with a buyback clause and a sell on clause.

With all the backlash I'm sure they pull an Everton and scrap it. I personally don't mind it if it were used on the training gear, merchandise, or whatever. But not as the new crest for their kits.

Already reverted to the old crest on their social media.

I honestly think it could be great with a little tweaking. gold trim highlighting the shape and the crown on top and it could look great

that's just because they've to see this season out with the current crest.

Xabi Alonso is retiring at the end of the year. Goodbye, you beautiful, bearded man. If only you had ever, just once, played for a club team I could stand.

Interesting Adebayor interview. On about being without a club and currently playing football just for fun back home:

“People would say to me: ‘I can’t believe you are playing here, you’re too big for here,’ and I would ask them why. I’ll never be too big for anything. I was born in a house without a light or a toilet, so why would I forget who I am or where I come from? It is where I started – why should I be sad about playing there?”

Comes across really well here and I wish him luck despite it all.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Does he even have that bad of a reputation?

To me at least, the general feeling is that he's about as mercurial as you're going to get. His random swings between a patch of banging them in and seeming completely uninterested have always been bizarre.

And if that is his bad reputation, then it's totally deserving...

If anything, it probably has more to do with the fact that in a four season time span, he played for Arsenal, City, Madrid, and Tottenham. Doesn't seem like the English tend to like players that move so quickly between clubs.

never looked on his performances as radom, he played well when he was trying to get a new contract and when he got the contract he'd dip off

Yeah he always seemed to perform when he either wanted a new contract or around transfer windows to attract interest from other clubs.

That man is responsible for at least 2 of my top 3 moments in football ever. This and his comeback goal give me tingly feelings.
