What have I just witnessed. Holy shit.

Cech had a very poor game, and Mustafi's performance hints that we maybe rushed him back. Monreal was typically poor defensively, whilst Bellerin had possibly his worst ever game of professional football and offered nothing going forward or at the back, playing people onside, falling over, giving the ball away, poor positioning, etc. Xhaka is clearly an immensely talented footballer but he has some appalling decision making. Iwobi was really bad, and is clearly off form other than last game.

Bournemouth's defensive changes and the attacking ones we made are what changed the game. Perez was fantastic, direct and deadly, and deserves to start in place of Iwobi next match. Ox was decent too when he came on. Ramsey out wide clearly does not work (although he wasn't terrible), why we didn't play Iwobi wide and Ramsey as no.10, I really don't know. Sanchez and Giroud were heads and shoulders above everyone else as our best players.

Heard people complaining that Giroud spent 15 seconds celebrating. Clearly got caught up in the moment but anyone having a go at him is an idiot, he assisted two and scored another, and was absolutely immense today. He wasn't at fault for our defensive errors, and he was isolated early on. The moment he got support/service, he provided the goods. He has really stepped up and his goals and assist/minutes ratio this season is insane.

Despite the great comeback, it's still a draw at Bournemouth. Title is over for sure, and I guess we have to focus on securing Champions League again and maybe an FA cup win. Suspect this is Wenger's last season, and as much as I love the man, it's hard to argue that it isn't the right move. Wenger moving upstairs and giving the job to a more motivational/mentally strong coach would be the best option really.

  6. I don't think the title race is over if Spurs win tomorrow. Liverpool would then only be 5 points back. Still a gap but it could put a little pressure on Chelsea.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Liverpool have been far too inconsistent to trouble Chelsea unless Chelsea start to really stumble. Liverpool keep doing baffling things like beating top 4 contenders and then struggling to deal with relegation fodder in the next match. I would like to see Liverpool really give chase, but currently, Conte has made Chelsea so consistent that it's hard to see anyone touching them.

Spurs will probably tan them tonight, just to prove me wrong. :crylaugh:

  8. Happy to see Poch sticking with the 3-4-2-1

Tonight's game could be a game of the season contender imo. Or a massive letdown now I've just said that.

  16. What a contest, even without the goal.

    Kante isn't fair.

Dele is going to go down as one of the all time great Tottenham signings.

Spurs are seriously dominating Azpi. Exploiting that he's not a real centre back.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm happy that Chelsea's streak got cut short but disappointed that we got bumped out the top four. At least theres still another half a season to play.
