  2. Southampton reveal their "one-off" third kit they're wearing this weekend. Looks nice.

Not sure why they're aiming for both Raleigh and Charlotte.

Ohio, Florida, California, or Texas expansion can wait. Either NC location (preferably Raleigh), Nashville, St. Louis, or even Detroit would be the best option.

The next two cities (team 25 and team 26) have a $150m league buy-in.

If the Glazers wanna replicate what City is doing, I could see them trying to link the Tampa team to United.

why would the glazers spend, what i'm presuming, a lot of money to set up another team?

They own the Tampa NFL team/all live in the area already. The Rowdies have already started petitioning to be added to MLS, so taking the Glazer money would be beneficial if offered I'd think.

Yeah I know they own the Bucs, but correct me if I'm wrong they don't really invest in them that much, right? And given their history with us I'd be loathe to say they will jump at the chance for another football team.

I think it should be NC or St. Louis over the others right now.

And will most likely require a stadium (Unless you're NYCFC, then you get a free pass)

Tampa's putting in an expansion bid for 2020 by the end of next month.

Also, the fact that the NASL is still considered our D2 is ridiculous

I saw that this morning on Facebook. Hope they get in. I think the rivalry with Orlando would be a lot of fun. It's the only sport the two cities would have a rivalry in (outside of USF/UCF which doesn't really count).

I think my friend mentioned that Nashville just approved their USL team to get a nice new stadium in the downtown area, so that may help make the MLS statement make a little more sense in mentioning them. They usually get decent Nat team crowds there, too.

I personally think the end game of MLS expansion is going to be 32 teams mirroring the NFL in division set-up when all is said in done. That said, I do wish it was 32 unique cities as opposed to 30 with LA and NY each having two... though, that's exactly what the NFL is going to have when the Chargers move to LA in the next few years.

Bruton Smith, billionaire nascar track owner, and his son are behind the Charlotte bid.

Hope they build a track around the field and run a nascar race at the same time as a soccer game, call it "the kick around 500"

They should replace the players with Nascars.

Sacking Gary Monk has to be one of the worst decisions of the last couple of years. Bradley should be sacked but he won't because of the shareholders.

Vardy sent off for a two footer that wasn't by the ref that didn't send off Rojo lmao

Y'all get relegated to some shitter thread or something? smh
