How in the hell do Chelsea get such high fees for their leftovers? Almost a hundred million to send Ramires and Oscar to Chinese clubs. Over the next couple of windows we're going most likely sell Rojo, Fellaini, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Memphis, Young, Rooney, etc. and we'll probably see half of that in total.

 

I totally forgot Schneiderlin was even on the squad, damn. What happened?

LvG happened. Schneiderlin at his best is tailor made to sit behind Pogba and Herrera in our current set up. I guess with the energy/tracking back of those two, Jose would prefer more of a pace dictator/playmaker in front of the back four. I know Weigl is a name that's been thrown around as a replacement for Carrick. Someone like Ruben Neves might work as well.

Our performance was awful though. Ozil did nothing all game and didn't even try, Walcott was totally ineffective and Xhaka couldn't win the ball back all night. How the players aren't motivated when we had to chance to go top absolutely mystifies me.

Weird set up, why is Ozil being left with him? I presume it's a mixture of zonal/man, but surely they had someone, anyone, else to put on one of Everton's best headers.

 

Literally the only people I wouldn't have back there are Ozil & Alexis. Why Ozil is in there I don't know.
