What is surprising is Matic in for Fabregas. I suppose Fabregas could be on his way to Turin?

 

he's been shocking for a full year and a bit now. it would have been him or Oscar i'd say. Oscar being more of a #10, Fab being more of a midfielder/classic attacking midfielder and I'd say Conte would want a more creative #10 with Kante and Matic being a bit wank on the ball

this match is fucking shit. west ham can't pass and chelsea can't stop diving. i have to say though, kante is utterly pointless at home for chelsea, especially partnering matic in midfield. not a shred of creativity in there and they don't really need the hustle and bustle of him considering they'll have the lions share of the ball.

I'd be into that, especially at home against Palace. Dier/Wanyama could maybe work when we're playing better offensive teams, but definitely not against a side set up like Everton were. Obviously Poche wasn't expecting Koeman to play three CBs, so the fact that he ended up making that switch (that honestly seemed a bit puzzling at the time) and it worked so well was promising.

 

Bilic does not strike me as a smart manager. Antonio did quite well last year as a winger then was inexplicably moved to full back where he's been predictably shit and now here today after he makes a mistake, Bilic wastes a sub bring him off? I mean I think bringing off a fullback is pretty dumb anyway but that was ridiculous and is a surefire way to ruin a players confidence. You could see it in his face.

 

So, um why is Costa not being sent off for that? Ridiculous refereeing. On replay that's even worse. Fucking hell English refs are awful.
