Ben Davies is gonna miss the semis for a yellow that wasn't, but him getting away with the tackle later on that should've sent him off kinda makes it okay.

Still ridiculous Ramsey will miss it for two yellows in five games.

 

Yeah it's crazy how struck it is over there compared to here. There's bookies on every high street and in every town. I live on the edge of a big town and I've got a bookie about a minute walk from mine. Then you have online betting, I just do it from an app on my phone. Obviously though having easy access to betting brings all kinds of problems with people getting in debt.

I'm pretty good with my betting though I'll only bet once or twice a month and I tend to not go over £25 when I do. Only reason I did more this time was because of the way of working that offer to be low risk.

 

Yeah. Stupid rule imo. Should reset after the groups not Quarters.

I told everyone at work I fancied Wales for a win and none of them were having it. While they've ridden a lot of luck. They're just so passionate and that builds into confidence. So good of them to reach the semis though, what an achievement for them. Here's hoping they go all the way.

 

Yeah, I suppose for the sake of my own wallet, it's a good thing the laws are what they are. I gamble enough at the casino the way it is. I just think betting on something I can watch unfold in front of me over an hour or two would get me into less trouble than sitting at the blackjack table or in front of slots for the same period of time.

The bans on yellow cards should not be there at all. It's a tournament that's held every four years and you can only play 7 games maximum if you're lucky and reach the final. Who on earth would make up a rule that lets you miss a game because of two yellows??? Its ridiculous.

That's not even true. I spent like 20 minutes when we first got there, went up $40. Went out on the boardwalk, played some games, got attacked by some gulls, may or may not have punched one, and then went back in for 15 minutes and found the cowboy who payed me another $40.
