It's annoying. Same with calling us gingers.

I have no clue how people liked so many of these songs enough for it to have a successful Broadway run. This is very much Renée Rapp’s movie and I’m glad she gave us a completely different Regina George instead of trying to replicate Rachel McAdams. I just can’t get over how poorly cast Cady and Aaron were. I’ve liked Angourie in everything I’ve seen her in but she couldn’t latch onto the tone. Kid who played Aaron had not even an ounce of the charm Jonathan Bennett did and half of his line reads sounded like someone’s first acting class

to answer your question I think it was more loyalty to the original film and the fact that the OBC was very iconic and talented

The OBC was great, I just think the songs were bad enough to overshadow that. If I never hear Revenge Party again, it’ll be too soon

I think the bad “camp” factor works for Broadway in a way that highlights how cringe it is in film form.

She’s definitely great in the movie but I don't think her songs are as gold as Regina's
