    I would strongly posit that, even if Tom were to come back to Blink-182? The sound of the last two albums would have pretty much been the same. But with Tom's signature whine, references to space/stars instead of goth culture, and equally generic guitar parts of a different sort.

    There's no real reason to assume that adding Tom back to the equation would make the other 2/3 of the band want to do anything different. Arguably, it would be more of a "fuck you, pay me" kind of album with Tom than it is without him.

    To be honest, at this point? I think it would be hilarious if Skiba left and they just replaced him with like, Gabe Saporta or Mike Herrera or something.
