I so called the Bicycle Thieves homage on my first watch. That's really cool, actually.

I would love to see a full length drama written by Aziz and his team. I think they'd pull it off super well.

Really enjoyed the second season. As for the storyline for the finale (and sorry if this was already mentioned in the thread), I can't help but think that it had to have been intentional/self-referencing to have Raven Symone cameo in an episode about a celebrity accused of sexual misconduct considering she got her start on The Cosby Show

Episode 3 is seriously painful to get through right now. Every conversation is so awkward.

This show is perfect. I'm on ep 4, and showed it to my dad. It was the perfect ep to showcase this type of humor/smart writing.

That whole first date ep was sooooo good.

Loved the call back to the friend app that Arnold talked about in ep 2. Plus the same girl talking about the Mortal Kombat movie

Finished the season today and holy shit I already want more. I absolutely loved the first season but I think this one might be legitimately a masterpiece. The second half was so fucking good, I absolutely loved everything with Francesca and the Thanksgiving one was amazing too. Episode 9 might have been my favorite overall though

It's probably intentionally ambiguous but do you guys think the ending meant that Francesca actually ended things with Pino and went back to Dev, or that it was a dream? It definitely wasn't a flashback, they're wearing different clothes than the first time they slept in bed together and she's not wearing her engagement ring. I'd like it to be real but it probably wasn't. Guess we'll find out next season. Also loved seeing Rachel again, actually caught me by surprise. Could be seen as either Dev being over her and fully into Francesca, or could be setting up for them potentially reconnecting next season?

Sorry for rambling lol, I can tell I'll be thinking about this for the next few days at least

To me there is no question, she stayed in NY with Dev instead of going back with Pino

    Like they promised, uh...

I think I answered that. You know, it's... It's a good test. Right? If you're a romantic or a cynic."

What I thought of. Has to be an intentional reference right?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was real. I kinda wish it ended the scene before though when it faded to black with Francesca and Pino.

Just coming by to say I love this show so much and I'm already hyped for season three. The one-off episodes were some of my favorites. I do agree though that there is something strange about the dialogue at some points, only delivery-wise and it hasn't been a big enough thing to bug me much at all

Hopefully we'll even get a season 3 in general :\

    There most certainly IS doubt

“I don’t know if we’re going to do a season three. I wouldn’t be surprised if I needed a looonng break before I could come back to it,” Aziz told Vulture. “I’ve got to become a different guy before I write a third season, is my personal thought. I’ve got to get married or have a kid or something. I don’t have anything else to say about being a young guy being single in New York eating food around town all the time.”

I wouldn't be opposed to new standup from him in the meantime

He just said in Bill Simmon's podcast that he hasn't worked on any stand up minus him hosting SNL earlier this year. We'd be a solid 18+ months away from a stand up special.

Eh, not surprising unfortunately. Perfectly fine with him just taking a break after how fantastic this season was

My teen daughters our huge fans of his, but I havent been able to sit and watch him for long periods of time.... I haven't found him <that> funny.

I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to take a break for a while, but he could also venture into other directions. A full length film would be cool.

That's actually a really interesting reason for holding off on doing a s3. Props to Aziz.

Just binge watched the season. Holy hell this is definitely way better than the first season, which i still really enjoyed. Thanksgiving episode was probably my favorite though. Wish we could get more about each side character

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

I think that's kind of great that he doesn't want to move to season 3 until his worldview or experiences change a decent amount. Kind of similar to how Man Seeking Woman had a soft reboot for the 3rd season, I could see Master of None taking a similar path
