Is there an ongoing list of characters and giant corpses that MCU has introduced as being meaningful yet quietly abandoned?

 

We're finally getting Leader 17 years later. Nothing is ever abandoned.

What if they go there but still no one mentions it

 

Could be purely coincidental that they shot that scene in the same place where the celestial is frozen in the ground. Like if you see the location where they shot the diner scene in Pulp Fiction in the background of another movie, it doesn’t mean those characters are going to excavate and deal with that Pulp Fiction diner.

 

The celestial corpse isn’t actually in Atlanta

 

I hope that’s the only part they even have in the movie and nobody even says anything about it.

 

They covered it with a sheet but its still visible in some scenes in the last season of Ozark (which is about Appalachia but shoots in Atlanta around where the celestial is).

 

They dropped a ton in just 1 hour in 2022.

I’d bet on Thunderbolts footage, then updating/announcing release dates through the next Avengers movie.

 

Avengers 5 starts filming in January so I expect the Avengers lineup to be revealed with the official villain of the film.

 

Oh we’ll 100% get title and info on Avengers.

 

It’ll be nice to not see 30 announcements for stuff we won’t see for 10 years or at all even.

Tbh I want them to acknowledge it but like in the most casual way… “hey remember that one time there was a dead giant in the ocean…. Anyway so we’re having pizza for dinner later”

 

I want Sam to just fly over it and then we never see it again.
