Seeing Mandy and Taylor tonight at an interview/concert series with Sam Jones at Hotel Cafe. Will report back with anything interesting! Currently chilling on the sidewalk listening to Dawes soundcheck

 

This was a great night. The interview wasn’t Sam Jones’ best but it was still really good. I would’ve preferred more about where she is now compared to spending 70% of the conversation on her teen years. There wasn’t really anything I don’t think anyone on Chorus wouldn’t know and they were filming and I think it’ll be released eventually so I’m not gonna really get into that.

Mandy was a little under the weather but still sounded great. Sam’s band The Spoilers were the band for the night with Taylor and Mandy joining. They did Heartlands and then A Little Bit of Everything and All Your Favorite Bands with Mandy on harmonies. Then they brought out fucking Benmont Tench as a surprise guest and they covered Insider.

 

Can’t believe I forgot but they started the mini set with In Spite of Ourselves
