Does anyone else prefer the version of Alice + Interiors on You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm... over the one on ILAVLAC? Idk why I do, it's definitely not superior from a production standpoint, but I think maybe I just prefer the mood of it more. Sounds more melancholy maybe? Either way, that's one of my favorite MO songs at this point.

 

Has the recorded version of Married/Black Nicholson (I've seen it referred to as both by Andy) ever surfaced anywhere? They played it a good bit while touring for Cope and I randomly decided to look it up today. Only thing I found was an AMA where Andy said he recorded it in New York and hoped it would get released at some point.

Maybe next Bad Books album? I really like that song. Sounds like it would fit perfectly on a Bad Books album.

I also like Go from METN. Hoping they release some sort of b-sides and rarities album one day

 

I like The Gold.

Always loved this band and their first 3 records, but I never got around to listening to Cope. Maybe I'll squeeze that in today.

 

Just a heads up, the subreddit mod team is in contact with the band manager and Andy and the rest of the band will be doing an AMA sometime soon. I'll keep you guys posted.

 

felt kinda bummed today, cheering myself up by finally ordering an I'm Like a Virgin LP...the website said sold out immediately after...hope they still have that one left haha

 

I almost bought it yesterday.

 

I'm debating on pulling the trigger on the color 2nd pressings of each LP. Going to make a display. All I need left are the Thrice Split and 5 stories CD and I have the full MO collection. Bad Books 1 and I've got the full Andy vinyl collection

 

I'm hunting down the pink with white swirls variant of Simple Math for a decent price, it's all I want.

Simple Math is really doing the trick for me right now. These hooks are huge, "April Fool" is one of my favorite tracks by them, I tjink
