I think saying “I like this song” “I don’t really like this song” doesn’t constitute embargo breaking the same way that posting unreleased lyrics or talking about the song structure, sounds, comparisons, or chords or whatever would be.

I also don’t have an embargo. But I don’t want to spoil anything besides just the vague hype up.

They’ve been on radio promos in the last month with the host saying “I really love what you guys have done with this new album”

Can anyone give pros to embargos? @Jason Tate? You didn’t seem fond of them in your news letter.

 

when something is bad, embargos are VERY important. It happens a lot with movies specifically where you put an embargo in place until release day because you know it's going to review poorly. That way, there's not a ton of time ahead of release for potential buyers to read a bunch of bad stuff about the movie.

Coverage to release day sounds like they just want the big press push day of so people can stream

Weird that the press release didn’t make mention of the number of days left til release date.

 

"Bed Head" is quite possibly (somehow) my favorite MO song at this point, so I'm really not worried.
