That’s like saying what Gordon Ramsey’s worst dish is. It’s still good as hell.

I suppose if I had to rank every project Andy ever did mayyyybe BBIII would be near the bottom but I still consider it to be very good and speaks to how insanely talented Andy (and MO) is.

BB3 is good, but to me it wasn't a Bad Books album (compared to the first two) so more of a let down I guess

With both KD and MO going more full band it made sense to do a more acoustic based record. Probably a little easier too. I’m honestly surprised that they made it to BB album III. With both being busy with Patreons, I don’t know if we get a BB IV, but I hope so. I’d be nice for them to split more songs like Army too. BB’s is kind of fun surprise.

Hope so. It’s a cool “other thing”. Plus some of those songs are fantastic. It’s Never Stops and Pyotr being my favourite two.

I like a lot of the songs from III individually, but as a whole it really doesn't move me. Bad Books needs more weird and a bit more energy.

Would be more shocked if Bad Books stopped than Manchester Orchestra.

    Especially the BBIII version.

That’s doesn’t really make sense since 2/3’s of its members are in MO, and the number of releases and emphasis of their work is Kevin Devine and MO. Side projects like BB, Kenny O, RAGC, and guest stuff don’t seem like they are going to be full time things ever.

the fact that new records will be coming out this year is a good sign though that they are going to keep making music for a while.

while i don’t like that album at all, it does seem like that’s a pretty easy and comfortable collaborative group to where it could go forever. if MO breaks up or ends/whatever, it still stands to reason kevin will be one of andy’s best friends and rob will be his brother in law lol

Andy could always decide to end the band, for one reason or another.

But I think the collaboration between him and Kevin persists into eternity.

I never want MO to end, but if it did, BB lives.

Does anyone remember this series of Instagram videos?

Also, The Manchester Orchestra logo and bars, someone called them COPE bars before, where they never around before that era? Their current logo is what they were using for the Bed Head single, but then they didn't use that as the single art, and instead, it's their profile logo, which seems kind of odd and out of place.
