Agreed. All of my favorite MO songs have both a soft and intricate sound as well as BIG RIP-ROARING CLIMAXES.

Bad Books 3 was enjoyable. Bad Books 1 was MO and Kevin B-sides, Bad Books 2 was a mix of B-sides and a few poppy interesting new songs. BB3 was what they wanted to do at the time, and I imagine BB4 in many years will be vastly different as well.
