They’ve never put out a bad record. I can maybe name 3 songs I don’t “love” of theirs.

I still get nervous before any major release, but they haven’t done me wrong yet.

Feels as though their discography has matured as the band and the fans have.

I adore the first 4 records but don’t find myself returning to them as much as I used to.

I agree with most of this. Simple Math had already been out for a while when I finally started listening to them, so I’m not as crazy about Virgin because of how different Andy sounds on the record, but the songs are still amazing and I can appreciate them more now especially because of the Patreon and the recordings we have now with Andy’s current voice.

I HAVE LOVED SIMPLE MATH EVER SINCE I FIRST BROKE THE STUPID FUCKING BRITTLE PLASTIC CRYSTAL CASE TRYING TO HURRIEDLY OPEN THE CD ON RELEASE DAY MORNING AND POP IT INTO THE CD PLAYER IN MY BLACK 2005 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.5 RS IN THE SOLOMON POND MALL PARKING LOT WHICH WAS THE CLOSEST NEWBURY COMICS TO MY EX-GIRLFRIEND KATELYN'S APT

What are your favorite song stretches on their albums? These are my top 3.

Leave It Alone - Apprehension - Leaky Breaks

The Alien - The Sunshine - The Grocery

Obstacle - Way Back - The Internet

I’ll take your 3-song run and give you 5. Angel of Death-Telepath is the best run they’ve got

I think their worst record is probably COPE. It was around that time I stopped being obsessed with them. Like A Virgin through Simple Math was an incredible stretch where they were pretty much my favorite band.

I’m still waiting for them to do something to shake things up, but I’ve come around to this era of ManOrch.

If it's just 3-song-stretch I probably have to go with:
Shake It Out - I've Got Friends - Pride
    or
Simple Math - Leave It Alone - Apprehension

but if it's any stretch of songs it's gotta be:
Inaudible - Angel of Death - Keel Timing - Bed Head - Annie

This seems to be out of the ordinary around here, but I definitely think Inaudible is a better song than Telepath, and not only a phenomenal opener in general but also the perfect opener to that album. Telepath is where the album starts to lose me, although it's still a good song and definitely much better than the song that comes after it.

I definitely like the two most recent albums more than anything previous. I prefer really clean production and I like how Andy's voice sounds now better than how he sounded on pre-Simple Math stuff. I also didn't become a fan until COPE, so that definitely skews how I view the albums that came out before it, and I probably like it more than most around here since it was my gateway to the band.

I had a hypothesis for a bit that they were going to release their first 4 records remastered with new vocals. Same bones, but with new producers, matured vocals, etc. similar to what Thrice just did.

May still happen but haven’t heard any word on it in a bit.

think we'll ever hear the titles from the deluxe packaging that are not going to be on this ep? maybe a second ep or just tossed into the archives

all this time i thought i was right
    laugh all you want
    reset button
the year and you are old
    two teeth

(assuming none of these are working titles for 'Quietly' or 'Letting Go')
