I case anyone is interested, for the last few months they’ve been dropping live performances of these songs on their Patreon. Basically playing through every song they know how to play and they all mostly sound better than ever in this small studio session live version.

I imagine we will be getting AOD, Keel, Bed, Telepath, Dinosaur, and The Internet next month and that will wrap up the series.

Also there was an article that went out from their management company stating a new album and tour this summer for MO. I wouldn’t expect a full new LP, era, and full US tour though.

 

That last part is a little confusing - mgmt says new album and tour this summer but you're saying no new LP or US tour... ?

Pretty sure BT is saying he thinks or knows that the album is not a new era but rather the MMOG bsides/titles listed in the deluxe version. And probably a small tour not covering the whole country

 

I personally don’t believe, based on everything I know and am able to share, that they are going to drop a new full length LP and start a new era similar to Black Mile and Million Masks this summer.

What most likely will happen is that they will drop the little brother EP to those two with various reworked B-sides and leftovers and other stuff that came out of recording in the last 5 or 6 years and will maybe do a handful of shows and festivals. They’ve got music recorded and a collection of songs. I just don’t think it’s going to be like. Teaser trailers. Multiple singles. Giant new Merch drops and 12 vinyl variants. New website. New themes. And a 30 show tour Etc. etc.

I also will not promise to eat a shoe if I’m wrong because I don’t know for sure.

 

Then your opinions and predictions mean jack shit in this thread. Sorry. I can't do anything about it. It's the way things are around here.
