I had the same thought. Reminds me of the opening tracks on Dog Problems.

Parts of The Internet remind me of The Silence.

I’ve always viewed RAGC as Andy’s depression outlet. The second half of this album sounds like what RAGC sounded like if RAGC came out of a depression and had a “full” band behind him.

Totally intentional. There are brilliant echoes of A Black Mile all throughout TMMOG.

This record fucks, as the kids say.

Spotify has added ‘Storytime’ features from Andy for the entire record.

Second half is definitely going to be a grower, a lot to unpack there

I haven’t listened yet, but also I haven’t gotten a shipment notification yet for the deluxe.

It’s really interesting to now see people split on side one vs. side two.

In a twist of events, my fiancé and I were given false information by our wedding planner about wedding licenses in Michigan so I had to book it back across the entire state this morning. Silver lining is that I got to spin the album twice on full blast.

First reaction is that Angel of Death sounds like a career-defining triumph. Liked the second half a lot more on second time through. Feels like maybe their best album?

i haven’t read a single reply in here since yesterday AM so i hope y’all are enjoying it too!!

Love the instrumentation on The Internet. I hear MMJ in the first guitar part in the song and then obviously some Weezer influence during the blow up section. What a dynamic track.

Inaudible has that Grandaddy and Format influence I love.

From what I've read here, and my own opinion after a few listens it seems like the lowlight. But glad it's getting love and hopefully I appreciate it more on subsequent listens.

Ahh, that makes sense. It's up now anyway! Got a meeting so will have to wait until after work now. CANNOT WAIT!

Now I need this to happen. Wow, that would be a dream combination.

i like the instrumentation of angel of death a lot but the vocal melody does next to nothing for me, kinda bummed after seeing how much it was hyped

definitely makes sense they didn’t drop that as a single.
