Honestly, I'm just happy that they know the band.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

First listen finished whilst lying in bed. My god is the entire thing beautiful. I 100% hear later Radiohead influence on this. Andy is making a case to beat out Jim Adkins as my favorite singer.

Jim’s longevity is something insane by itself. But neither guy has really seemed to struggle vocally before.

If you miss said band (BN) I’d still recommend The Republic of Wolves.

I'm in absolute love with this album. I was a bit apprehensive about how on Earth they would follow up Black Mile, but damn did they pull it off. I can't wait to know every inch of this album.

And thank you guys for making the build up so memorable. This has been a really fun thread, even for all of its faults.

Good lord the opening line is so bad haha. The rest of the album is p good, not sure if i like all the call backs in lyrics/melodies to ABMTTS

"I don't miss you the way that I did" specifically hits really hard.

Lots of lyrical references to The Silence on this track too especially in that first verse.

The emotion in the vocals into the build on The Internet really brings the record home.

There’s a ton of BM references. They’re leaning into it heavy. But I truly enjoy that.

    Unofficially officially one giant story.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

legit sounds like a Rivers Cuomo line that got cut from OK Human lmao

Lowkey one of my favorite parts about the album.

Has it been confirmed that some of these songs continue on with story threads from the last album or are these new ones?

I create content for some of your favorite artists

this album is missing a "there is nothing I've got, when I die that I keep"

If the under story was supposed to be fatherhood, than isn’t it logical that continues?

I really feel like my least favorite song on the record is Bedhead.

Which is nuts because I think lyrically it’s one of the strongest.

I guess I did overdo it a bit too heavily.

I was meaning more the storyline that's in The Grocery/Lead SD/The Wolf and stuff.

The references within Black Mile didn’t bother me as much

I think there’s a fine line to walk between cleverly referencing yourself and recycling material and some of this hews a little too closely to the latter for me. But again it doesn’t take me out of it in any major way

A couple lines come close as of now

"I am what I am, same above as the ground"

    And

"I'm alive, but it isn't the same as before"

The opening line of Inaudible didn’t really strike me as corny or anything. I actually kind of like it.
