I feel like I’m always going to associate this album with last night and that might be for the better.

 

Record is very good.
Back half is probably some of my favorite this band has ever done.

when we start ranking in twelve hours I’ll probably comfortably slot this in at 2 or 3. Which is no slight considering Black Mile And METN are all timers for me.

Angel of Death, Dinosaur, The internet, and Bed Head are my early favorites. Beautiful album. Time for a 3rd listen.

Only one listen in - front half struck me as slightly more immediate and the back half as slightly more sublimely glorious. Hell of a fucking album. Wow.

 

You should make the Kong picture bigger so the circle in the photo lines up with the album circle so it's a dude staring right at Kong's dong
