Who cares how many copies of the album you ordered or if you have an advance? (I’m sure the minimum wage worker at the record store couldn't give a shit) I know it was meant to be a joke but it feels like some of y’all are making it a contest of who has the most variants or a bragging situation for having an advance.

I’m friends with about half of the employees at the store. I know the owner very well. It was meant to get a laugh with the automated response thing actually responding back with everyone trying to get their record at their local store.

You guys try so hard to make everything in this thread not enjoyable. Just let things be.

 

Yeah I think we can all agree that unless you are someone who is writing a review of an album nobody gives a shit if you got an advance and would rather you didn’t talk about it

 

I was just commenting on what I saw, I don't know your relationship with that record store. I've only really noticed it in this thread where how many variants you bought/if you have an advance has been fairly consistently brought up throughout the thread, that's why I commented.

In other threads if someone has an advance they usually don't make that big of a deal about it.
