Also, please ease up on posting your shipping notifications everyone. I don’t need to see a bunch of “received” in a few days as much you don’t want to see me post downloaded when I buy it on iTunes or something.

And here I was thinking they'd do something in the vein of Hope and Sinful Math except this time it would be "The Million Masks of Dog" and go for a re-interpreted Pet Sounds kind of vibe

 

I am just here waiting on that drip drip along with the 4 vinyl copies I ordered.

 

Doesn’t ordering vinyls get you a digital copy of that vinyl sent to you? I don’t care for me personally, but I hope labels do that.

 

Sometimes the vinyl will come with a download card. Doesn't always happen and usually doesn't work until release day.

The release day part makes sense when you purchase vinyl. I just wasn’t sure if labels were expecting fans to buy a hard copy and a digital copy, I would hope not. If you’re spending the extra on the hard copy provide the digital because there is basically no additional cost and losses in digital purchases can be made up for in the vinyl cost.

 

I believe the "charts" count Vinyl as album purchases now, hence why people like Taylor Swift put out 80 different variants. So it should count.

Sadly a lot of records do not come with a digital download anymore, as they assume people use streaming.

 

Out of all the vinyl I have purchased, maybe 5 or less have not come with a digital download or a download card.

 

Yeah. I don’t do the streaming route and I rarely buy vinyl. Just typical I found they do, but I tend to buy vinyl that arent brand new releases and only at shows when artists set the price/profit point
