Wow, somebody hasn't been paying attention to the countdown.

I’m confused. You can post it in EU, but not in US? Will you be posting in EU Thursday and just not telling anyone in the us?

I'm an album man, not a singles man. So I think andy made this for me.

Agree with Andy, Pensacola absolutely should have been the first single off Simple Math.

Simple Math, April Fool and Virgin are 3 of my favourite 5 songs from the album. I got no issue with those songs as singles.

comparing BMTTS to a wilco album makes a lot of sense. it isn't as good as wilco but it makes the album/their process click a bit more

For those who subscribe already, is the 'Digital Download of Exclusive Patreon Live shows' ($15) just a replay/download of the 'Exclusive Live Concert' ($20)? Or is the live concert something different just for the $20 subscribers and the $15 will never see/hear it. Or is the extra $5 perk (other than the t-shirt) is that you just get to join in live instead of the next day?

I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea about the Digital Download. When they post the "Live shows" they are unlisted youtube videos of them playing a 40 minute set of music from their discography in a slightly more mellow style. Many months later they upload these as song download files.

the only actual video they've given to download was the black mile show that was a hefty file of 1080p download on a dropbox.

Maybe I'm just not seeing the other because I'm already at the $20 tier.

(It may be the many months behind song downloads you get on the $15 tier. It seems like they've changed the tiers and now the lowest gets a monthly acoustic song?)

Also, this quote from Andy in that article hits close to home:

“You know, you’re a dad, you can kind of go down those wormholes of like, ‘Oh no, I can’t stop time!’”

That article made me even more excited.

I'm trying really hard to not let my opinion of Black Mile mess with my judgment of this record. Manchester has been a band I liked a lot dating back to the METN days, grew to love years later with subsequent records, but then Black Mile came and solidified itself as one of my favorite albums of all time. I don't really have a running list, but it's near the absolute top.

Yeah. Neither of my other two orders have changed any status.

The Hardbook deluxe with the three signed posters and the tshirt that is paired with the Cope repress.

The Patreon Exclusive said “payment status received - awaiting shipment” over the last week.

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

Some have shipped, others are pending processing. I haven’t gotten any updates from any of the indies or overseas.

The stress of handling literally 8 different orders. lol

I was wondering if there would be some perk to being a Patreon member in relation to the release, such as early access or an album track dropping prior to release. Maybe they are shipping the Patreon variant earlier than the rest? Also not sure 2nd City prints is organized enough for something like that lol
