    Now I know.

  4. Most of them stand alone really well - it's incredibly incriticate and layered but each song is strong on its own

  5. Also played the opening track for my wife today and she had actual goosebumps within 30 seconds

  6. The Alien has Sufjan vibes

My mom once told me that Alice and Interiors was annoying and I tend to agree with her now.

The only song I don't really care for from Manchester Orchestra is The Mansion... and I feel like that may be an unpopular opinion. idk if I'd call it a dud though... still feels a little harsh lol

That one shows some dcfc influence which I enjoy.

Nobody sings anymore has a few songs I don't like luckily it's not an official release from the band

Alice and Interiors is one of my favorites, honestly, particularly the version on You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm.

Alice would be in my bottom half of that album, but I still enjoy it quite a bit.

It's been a really rough last 30 days and I'm looking forward to how cathartic I think this album will be.

METN is a perfect album. that's a fact. but i always forget jimmy,he whispers exists.

also, more people need to talk about the fourteen years of excellence EP, wtf

Me, He Whispers is cool. Very haunting.

My name is Jimmy so it immediately gets my favor.

I never really got into this band outside of METN, but I'll probably give the new one a shot.

ILAV and METN are pretty much perfect including the songs written during the METN (Go, Jimmy He Whispers, the Fourteen Years EP). Copes damn near close to being perfect production issues aside.

for me theyve pretty much always been above those bands and I have a pretty good feeling this album will further cement them. I'll go to bat for Simple Math and Cope even if theyre both kind of the same problem just on opposite ends, Hope is wonderful, I know everyone is pretty familiar with my adoration for ILAV and METN, and I'll even go as far and say that Nobody Sings Anymore is a real good album at least as good as Cope.

Yeah, I'll put this band above Brand New and Thrice, definitely. That's not a super high bar for me, but Man Orch has a very solid discography.

The new song has already become really special to me. I've been going back through their albums for the first time in a while since yesterday, and god damn this band is so good. I never gave them enough attention.

Pretty sure they meant that Hull and McDowell are the only original members left. Or at least the only ones that have been in the lineup since ILAV.

And if we're talking duds, 100 Dollars is absolutely a dud for me. I've never been into In My Teeth much either.

ILAV and Cope are their most consistent albums to me.
