Wow. That song is wonderful. That honestly be one of the best songs this band has released.

I know I shouldn't set my expectations too high, but I just get the feeling that they nailed it this time around. The artwork, the title, the concept, now this song... everything is shaping up to be a success. I sure hope I'm not wrong.

From what I've heard, this and maybe one other are the "hardest" songs on the album. The rest are a bit softer and slower.

This has me very intrigued, because this is not really a "hard" song whatsoever. At least not in the way a song like Virgin, Shake It Out, or Top Notch is.

I think a mellower Manchester Orchestra record could be right up my alley.

I'm not a huge fan of the choir like vocals/Swiss Army Man influence at all. To hear that this album errs more on the softer side of things is a little disappointing because what has always attracted me to this band is their ability to strike a balance between louder, crunchier songs and the opposite. Also, maybe I'm just not as into this band as I used to be which is fine too.

  13. It's a damn good song bridging their past and future. And it's still not the best on the album.

We reach for the longest shadow

listened to that crappy phone recording on reddit, a better version would be cool.

song sounds great. not as immediate sounding as cope, which i think is a good thing in the long run.

  17. I think I can come up with a top 3.

    Hopefully soon.

If this is to say I probably won't be a fan of the rest of the album, it is what it is lol. Not everything has to be for everyone and that's a-ok :peace:
