lol that's strange it's just a fun little video, I don't think it's meant to be taken super seriously

Still bummed I can't make it to whatever this show that they're doing in Chicago tonight is (going to see the Killers in Milwaukee), but it just hit me that Kevin Devine is playing Lolla at 1 tomorrow, so now I'm thinking maybe Andy will make an appearance. Maybe they'll do a Bad Books song?

In Andy's NPR interview he said The Maze and Silence are both about his daughter and him. And that The Alien was a narrative story about a kid walking into traffic having family demons. Didn't seem to hint that they were interconnected.

While the songs are ultimately about him/his life, he ties "The Silence" back to "The Gold" with the "20 hours out of Homestake eternity" line. So there is still a story there, even if it's not what we think it is.

This album is just ridiculous. Every time I listen is still has that same magic as the first time. I can't imagine anything topping this as my AOTY

Me neither lol. I've had John Cassavetes before but right now it's the king of Mosey himself, Daniel Romano.

That's funny! I just think this is a great picture of Paul Mccartney

I get Coheed vibes with the background vocals/lyrics. I get Coheed vibes on a lot of this album, actually.

I will say with 30 responses in, it is a dead heat between 2 songs being eliminated. And there are still 2 songs that don't have a single vote to be knocked out.

Those two songs better be the maze and the grocery

I'll guess it's "The Grocery" and "The Silence".

I wish Coheed would try to sound this big again. I hear The Dear Hunter from a production/storytelling standpoint more than anything. Especially The Grocery, the guitar tones on that song are very similar to what TDH's guitars sounded like on Act II.

Actually now I'm picturing this producer working with Coheed and I think that is at the top of my musical collaborations I want to see happen now.

I was going to do every other day but since this forum and the subreddit, I'm getting a lot of responses quickly so I will probably make it every day

I honestly can't stop listening to it. Tyler Childers has a new album coming out on Friday but I'm not gonna be able to give it much time for the foreseeable future.

I've listened to this album more in 6 days than any other album this year so far, and I have listened to a lot of stuff.
