Has anyone who purchased the "experiential" version of the album actually gotten to hear it yet?

Mae is pretty good live. Not the best live band ever, but definitely not terrible.

Saw them once way back after The Everglow was released. They were opening for Coheed & Cambria and mewithoutYou here in the UK. To say that they were the opener and far from home, I heard nothing to say that they were terrible. I actually really enjoyed them and would love to see them again in a smaller venue.

I saw them several times during their Everglow heyday. They're not like wildly energetic or anything, but they always sounded good.

Revisiting this album for the first time in a while, still pretty impressive "late-career" album from the band. I'd say upwards of 75% of it works really well and the rest I could take or leave, either way I really love that they came back with this instead of playing it super safe. "Let It Die" is definitely the song that harkens back to their early sound the most, quite a jam

Dave just posted on their Patreon that tour AND vinyl news will be coming in the next few weeks! I would love to see them again! And I know a lot of people have been wanting represses of their past albums

Mae are signing to Equal Vision Records and recording in the autumn. They announced this at the end of the Black Sheep Podcast Furnace Fest series episode.

Awesome! I started listening to that episode but haven't finished it yet

Edit: The migration of former T&N bands to EVR continues. Seriously need a former T&N bands tour

I thought they did their own label/management type thing but cool for them

I know a lot of you are into a variety of music. If you’re into noisier, heavier stuff, check out the new Demons album. Zach Gehrig (Mae’s guitarist) is also in this band.
