Love (Netflix) TV Show • Page 21

  1. The ending is perfect. Also I rationalized the Dustin thing because of the lyrics to "You and I." I think this season is better than the first, but the second was best overall.

I binged the third season today. What a show, I'm going to miss it. I thought the character development was the strongest this season, and this also had the best use of the side characters. The first episode, Bertie's Birthday, and the finale I thought were all really really strong and some of the best of the series. I feel bad for Randy. He tried to improve himself when Bertie was clearly pushing away, but he's so far removed from reality. He had a nice moment at the end there, even if it was insanely uncomfortable. Overall I think this was my favorite of the three seasons.

The lead up to and the Dr. Greg book signing/event was my favorite part of the season. And then watching the fallout from it when he was in the conference room was really funny to me.

    Finished yesterday. Loved it.

Sucks that it’s ending, but not every show needs to be 7 seasons. I wish more shows would end after 3 or 4

I've been going through a rewatch of Parks and Rec and have been happy to see the actor who plays Randy appear as an extra every now and then lol, I've noticed him in at least 3 or 4 episodes. Paul Rust was also in an episode offering Ben a job.

  7. Love discovering stuff like this. Sometime recently, Phone Booth was on TV, and I caught in there Kevin Hart as an extra. Not even a big fan of his or that movie but it was really funny to see

  8. Yeah Mike Mitchell’s famous role as Pawnee resident Bjorn Lerpiss

Wow, I never got around to seeing that movie, but that definitely blows my mind that Kevin Hart was in it lol

Hahaha I completely forgot about Bjorn. I guess since I never saw Mike Mitchell as a main character in something, I just had zero memory of him being that specific extra in the show.

Gus seems pretty realistic to me, outside of the lucky jobs he gets.

He’s a child and unlike other Apatow movies he never gets his shit together. He’s just honest with Mickey, who got her shit together, and got married without improving his massive flaws

    Needed another season tbh

There are plenty of people who are asses, lash out at everybody, and there are plenty of people who forgive their friends when they shouldn't. Idk, I definitely know people like that. Pretty believable to me.

Tbh, I'm probably more similar to Gus in real life than I'd like to admit in terms of his lashing out at people. I have very little patience and a short fuse, so I've been known to flip out in the moment out of frustration.

The difference between me and Gus in that regard is that I'll almost immediately realize what I just said or did, and feel an immense amount of guilt for it and I'll own up to it and apologize once I've had a second to think and calm down. It's something I'm not proud of and have been trying to improve in myself through therapy for years now.

I mean, I'm also Bipolar 2 with ADHD, so those kinda feed things as well.

Wasn’t as into this season as the first two, except the Claudia O’Doherty arc was lovely. Lots of the Gus/Mickey stuff felt lifeless or wheel-spinning until they visited his family. Continue to think Gillian Jacobs deserves all the accolades, but slightly disappointed overall.

Im right there with you. Couldnt stand either Mickey or Gus by the end of S2. Its carrying over into season 3 for me though. I just finished the Michael Myers episode and might just give up. I think the show lost me.
