Rumors regarding Jack Antonoff are uninspired and false, I think

 

The rumors that they're dating? Or something else?

 

Yeah the dating rumors. There's literally no evidence other than "they sure hang out a lot!"

 

I was scared for a second. You can't just make a post that vague!

 

Yeah Jack already posted about how ridiculous and dumb the rumors are

 

Yea there's definitely nothing to that. People just wanted to make something out of nothing when Jack and Lena broke up.

Same I was worried something came up about behind the scenes drama or something.

 

IMHO they are just friends.

 

I can't put my finger on why it disturbs me so much, but it really disturbs me that it's even a rumor. I guess in part because of the age gap, but it just feels like a disservice to them both and the work they did together.

 

It’s just the stupid assumption that a (presumably) straight guy and girl can’t be close in any capacity without it being romantic or sexual

 

Yea I think that's really it. And I feel like there's another element like, I guess it comes across to me that people think Jack only worked with her out of romantic interest or something. It feels like a disservice to their creative partnership, as well as to their friendship. Very obnoxious.

(And Jack is on record as identifying as straight, just as an fyi.)

I'm excited for the Portland show, even though it has sold very poorly (they've had to downsize the seating configuration in the arena). Wonder if that's why they got rid of the b-stage as well.
