It's really tough, there was a good stretch from 09-14 where I got amazing at being around tons of people and now I'm bad at it again

 

I had a professor who banned chewing gum bc a student wrote answers on bubble tape and then shoved it in his mouth when he got caught.

I wrote a few algorithms and runtimes on little pieces of cardstock paper, and i'd put them under my shorts, then bring them out and look at them. I'd put them right on my test and they never noticed.

For me, grad school was 10 times easier. I just took the classes I wanted to take and collected the 4.0s for the resume. Didn't bother with research. Went to the bars on weekdays.

I’ve gotten a lot better being around people. I still have moments where I don’t want to interact with anyone and hide away, but it’s less than it was a few years ago when I was basically forced to not leave the house. I guess being trapped then made me decide to open up more nowadays.


I thought about going back for my masters but then I look at how much debt I’m already in from school and then laugh/cry
