that Han Solo movie should 100% not be made lol

 

my favorite parts of the OT were the droids wondering through the desert in ANH and Jabbas Palace in RotJ

so Im not a normal fan

I just liked being able to breathe in and witness a weird alien universe with interesting things happening that didnt require dialog even, instead of a plot that was constantly racing forward to the next big moment.

You know how Breaking Bad would have a cold open or a segment where you just watch a bunch of physical acting of a character doing sometjing interesting? I enjoy that stuff and so do audiences I think. The OT SW did that too and I enjoyed it.

Im not saying that SW has to have that to be SW or that future installments should do that instead of whatever else. But thats why I liked those moments in the OT and practically nothing else about the universe.

 

100% agree. I think a lot of the charm of Star Wars was in how weird it was with all the crazy characters at the cantina and stuff. That charm can't really be done again in our CGI obsessed movie world. It was also probably kind of accidental

it's weird for me because I never got that into Star Wars, never seen the middle one what is that Empire, Jedi is the one with the Ewoks and the spoiler alert right I saw that and New Hope and all the recent ones, none of the prequels

The resistance ships running from the first order ships is an awkward plot.

It made me just want to see the members of the resistance all die.

Id take this movie as a 1 hour episode with the events sorrounding Rey, Kylo, Luke, and Snoke. Itd be pretty perfect then for what it is.

 

Just put on the OT while youre cleaning house or something or high. Its a good passive watch. You can even put it on mute and play music.

I finished Life is Strange Before the Storm. It's great, now it makes LiS even sadder and I'm gonna do a replay soon. UGH :(

Plus after playing Before the Storm, Amber reminds me of an old friend who moved away like one week after senior year ended for good, which made me sad. Also Before the Storm literally takes place during the same months of my senior year lmao.

I can't half watch a movie or else I forget all of it and wind up being like that was a waste of time, I do that with music and podcasts though

Its great! The bonus fourth episode takes place in like 2007 when Max leaves and I'm sure that will kill me.

 

LiS was an awesome experience. It started out as me just playing it at my exes house while she would be doing her thing, but it evolved into us basically playing together and was really nice bonding experience.
