Lollapalooza 2017 Festival

Muse is definitely a band that could get me to buy a single day ticket if the rest of the lineup that day is solid.

That list is pretty much just copied from this Reddit thread, right? I wouldn't put too much stock in it for now. Even in that thread, they seem to think Blink is more likely for Riot Fest.

 

Blink, a perfect circle, foo, and japandroids could get me there.

 

Arcade Fire, Blink 182, Chance the Rapper, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Foo Fighters, Gorillaz, Grizzly Bear, Japandroids, Lorde, MGMT, Nine Inch Nails, Run the Jewels, Schoolboy Q, Spoon, St. Vincent, Vampire Weekend, Young the Giant

Honestly seems a little good to be true, but if most of them are true, then that's probably the best lineup I've seen the festival have in a long time.

 

Definitely sounds too good to be true. If it is, I'll likely be there

 

Heard from a relatively credible source last night that Chance is in fact one of the headliners this year.

 

Chance, Muse, and Arcade Fire seem pretty certain. Leaves one wildcard for the Samsung headliner: I'm starting to think twenty one pilots, also could be Kendrick, or maybe even Guns N Roses.

I think we'll also pretty definitely have Lorde, The XX, blink 182, Run the Jewels. Wouldn't be surprised to see The Weeknd show up.

 

I would love to see blink-182, Lorde, The Weeknd, or The xx. Hopefully a combination of those would all play the same day.

You can follow Greg Kot (Tribune writer), he usually has some sort of early info on the lineup. I think his profile has expanded a bit, so not sure if he'll leak anything, but he has in the past.

 

Lineup will be announced on the 22nd.

So crazy no one has been announced but they will probably sell out today. What a crazy world we're living in.
