Lady Bird ruled. Florence Pugh rules. This looks charming & fun.

 

Emma Stone would not have made a good Meg. Emma Watson is actually a much better fit.

 

Not as into it as Lady Bird, but I'll probably still really like this.

 

Not watching the trailer but I’m so excited. I watched the Gilian Armstrong version randomly and loved it

I’ve yet to see anything Florence Pugh in anything. I want to see Midsommar, what else should I check out?

Those are the only two I've seen her in, and she's wonderful in both. She was also in Lady Macbeth, which is apparently based on a Russian novel and not the Shakespearean play.

Well, shit, I have some catching up to do.

 

So yeah, I've only seen Flo in Midsommar and FWMF so far.
Outside of HP, I've only seen Emma in Perks.
I've seen Tim in Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird (but I don't remember him in that???)
I've seen Sir-shuh in Mary Queen of Scots, Atonement, and of course Lady Bird.
I've seen Eliza in Sharp Objects, but she hasn't really been in much else.

 

Florence is also in the Outlaw King on Netflix with Chris Pine. My favorite role of hers though was in the series Little Drummer Girl.

 

What other roles were they good in? Brooklyn, Bling Ring, Beautiful Boy?

Where can I find this? I just assumed it was one of those British things that never made it over to the states.

Edit: apparently it aired on AMC, which I don't have.

I still need to finish Little Drummer Girl. Park Chan Wook is one of my favs and it was the first thing I saw Florence in (she was great). The overall show was kinda boring me though.
