Since everyone seems like they are into their discography recently, what is their best 3 stretch of songs?

 

Waiting For The End-Blackout-Wretches and Kings is the first one that comes to mind

 

For me it's between that or Living Things..............but I can't make my mind up between Echo, Remains and Burn it Down or Remains, Burn and Lies. Both are so strong.

 

Hard to cut out Lost In The Echo. That's a great song

 

Also if it wasn't for the wasted Drawbar, Mark the Graves-Final Masquerade-Line in the Sand would be up there too.

 

Yeah, agree. That and Lies are my two favs so honestly its choosing between them lol. If I could I would throw out Remains and do Echo, Burn and Lies lol.

 

I'd go with either

With You - Points of Authority - Crawling;
Leave Out All The Rest - Bleed it Out - Shadow of the Day; or
Waiting For the End - Blackout - Wretches and Kings

 

yeah, the back half of HT and Metora have heavy hitters like Place for my Head, Pushing Me Away, From the Inside and Numb. I think for those two I'd have to go Papercut-OSC-With You and..................Metora is hard but probably Faint-Figure 09-Breaking the Habit.

 

Papercut is such a fucking good song.

 

It really is. The Live in Texas version is my favorite. When the studio track comes on I always do the backing screams and extra notes Chester puts into the live version.

Considered putting a stretch there, but they're all so good, I couldn't figure out a good starting-ending place!

 

Minutes was hard on me because I really wanted In Pieces and Little Things, but In Between is my least fav track. Would probably go Bleed-Shadow-What I've Done.

 

In Between is my favorite track on Minutes!

 

I didn't used to like in between at all, but no more sorrow and Valentine's Day are huge for me. The chorus in in between is good enough for me for that run to get noted haha


Also I've listened to more LP in the past couple weeks than I did in the previous several years. Feels weird to say this, and I still hate most of ATS, but what an underrated post-M2M discog.

 

I'm sorry! I was happy it was Mike's first track singing the whole thing (I think) but it was just too boring for me!

 

Boring?!

 

Either Leave Out All the Rest - Bleed It Out - Shadow of the Day or Lost in the Echo - In My Remains - Burn It Down.

The live in Texas version of pushing me away is easily one of my favorite live adaptations too. What an incredible release.
