I've stayed in a converted royal mansion in Budapest for $10 a night (minor humble brag). Why does it cost $427 a night to stay in a cookie cutter hotel in downtown Nashville? Seriously. Makes no sense at all.

 

Hit up a Motel 8 or something 30 minutes outside the city

I wanna go to Nashville.

 

We're probably gonna have to. We're trying not to spend a huge amount on parking and whatnot for the weekend. Beyoncé parking alone is $35.

 

The original plan was just to drive back to Knoxville, but then things happened and now it's a three-day weekend.

If I had consistent income I probably wouldn't care all that much. Right now this is just a straight up reminder of how broke I am.

 

Rather than pay for parking these days I usually opt for public transportation. The train is pretty convenient in Dallas if you're going downtown.

 

I don't think Nashville has public transportation outside of buses. And you know Uber and Lyft are gonna be surge pricing and overloaded with Beyoncé in town.

My hope was/is to stay across the river from the stadium and just walk to the concert.

 

Oh, well yeah the hotel is going to be high for that reason!

 

Hotels kind of freak me out. It's TOO cookie cutter. Something about that weirds me out. Idk.

 

I love being in a hotel. Everything seems so best and comfortable. Unless the hotel is bad of course.

 

I don't like hotels or sleeping on peoples couches. Only my bed plz.

 

This has me so fucking excited. You can barely tell it is a wrestling show.

 

I think maybe I should start watching it.

 

Its the best show on tv.

Mom likes to leave me small to-do lists that take about an hour to help keep things up around the house. Today's took almost five hours. Classic Mom.

I mean, are you busy?

My roommate bought cleaning supplies 3 months ago and they are still sitting on the floor by our front door. I guess he figures since he isn't here Friday-Sunday that I will do all of the cleaning.

Lots and lots and lots of yardwork. Felt like mowing with tweezers at one point.

 

I'm not and totally don't mind doing it. Today was just deceptively way more than usual, despite being a shorter list.
