I'll Be Waiting is stunning

 

The first time I listened to Hot Pink I definitely thought “wow this sounds exactly like SOPHIE” and i didn’t realize it was actually co-produced till I read that review.

Giving this another chance right now. It didn’t quite stick on the first listen but I liked it enough to wanna come back. Hopefully it grows.

 

I'm so glad people are checking this out and into it. It's crazy to think I was lukewarm on this after first listen, because now it just sounds better and better each time. Cool & Collected and Donnie Darko are stunning.

 

I like this a lot.

This album is phenomenal. Just accidentally found out about it the other day and have been listening non-stop since.

Wow this really is a grower huh. I’ve gone from bein like “okay this is cool I guess” to “god damn am I even listening to the same album???” I gotta give this a full attention listen with some good headphones.

 

This is insanely good, came out of nowhere for me. Somehow avoids everything I’ve disliked about indie/pop music from the last like two years and sounds really fresh.

Yep, keeps gettting better. Need to buy this shit on vinyl ASAP

The second half of this album is wonderful

 

Donnie Darko sounded a hell of a lot like Fuck Buttons in places. Whole album is kinda nice.

 

Am I crazy or does Cool & Collected kinda sound like a Pink Floyd song?

 

Back half reminds me of The War on Drugs.

finally hunted down the vinyl to this. seriously such a fucking good album.

 

This is still soooooo good. I think Donnie Darko has grown on me the most, that build is perfect. Not many artists can hold my attention for an 11 minute song but they pull it off so effortlessly

 

Funny, I just put this on for the first time in like a week.

Agreed on Donnie Darko. I rarely listen to such long songs outside of the context of an album but it’s probably my most played beyond the singles. Whole album is stellar, but what a way to end things.

 

Yeah I’ve been coming back to it a lot again. Definitely gonna be close to the top of my list.
