haaa i paused SOPHIE to listen to this and when Hot Pink kicked into gear i was like "oh this is a really smooth transition." had no idea it was produced by her.

 

Haha yep! Nothing else nearly as clubby as that but it's a delightfully weird pop record, a lot going on and so well produced. Gonna need more time with some of the curveballs on the back half but can't wait to listen again

I do like this quite a bit, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was at least a little disappointed. I think they released the absolute best songs as singles. The rest is good, sometimes even weirder, but nothing strikes me like the run from Hot Pink-Falling Into Me. Snakes & Ladders is the closest thing to reach the heights of those tracks. Eager to spend more time with it though.

Gave it a second listen yesterday and all my reservations faded away. This is fantastic.
